The Montagna Hill vineyard consists of 20 acres of cabernet sauvignon on Pritchard Hill, located above Lake Hennessey in St. Helena.  Although not technically its own AVA, Pritchard Hill is home to some of the world’s finest cabernet vineyards.

The 2020 Montagna Hill opens with expressive, harmonious aromas of red and black fruits with notes of cardamom and brown spice. This vintage is incredibly rich on the palate with flavors of plum, earth, and licorice interlaced with black currant and graphite. Well-structured and generous tannin resolves into a sleek and supple finish that is incredibly lengthy. 

This wine is perfect to be consumed early but will age beautifully for 15-20 years.
